Backstory
In the shadowed underbelly of the old city, they call her Jade Scar.
No one knows where she came from. Rumors have it that the shadows in the deeper tunnels under Blackharbor birthed her, burning with a desire to live for today with no care for tomorrow and a lust for the finer things in life. Whatever the story of her past is, she’s not telling her fellow riffraff, no matter deep into her cups she gets.
Now she haunts the sewers, rooftops, and shadowed alleys as a legendary cat-burglar and silver-tongued con-woman. A sleek, deadly anthro rat with glowing green eyes and a tail that never stops moving. She speaks with a thick, cheeky Cockney accent, full of hisses and dark humor. She’s quick with a blade and quicker with a flirtatious remark — but those who get too close notice the haunted look behind her confidence.
She drinks hard when the jobs are done. Cheap gin, rough ale - anything strong enough to drown out the dark memories of her past that continue to haunt her. Some nights she laughs too loud. Others she stares into her cup in silence.
No ones knows the full truth of her life.
No one knows why she still clings to that little spark of humanity beneath the fur and cynicism.
But everyone knows this: Jade Scar always gets what she wants. Cross her and you may lose more then you coin purse.
